Terms and Conditions.
By booking, purchasing or participating in any course, programme, workshop or service provided by Lindsey, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
Payment
A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure your place on your chosen course.
The remaining balance must be paid in full on or before the first session of the course unless an alternative payment arrangement has been agreed in advance.
Course fees are payable for the course as a whole and not for individual sessions.
Participant Cancellations
If you cancel your place before the course begins, the £50 deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel after the course has started, no refund will be provided for any sessions attended or missed.
Requests for refunds due to exceptional circumstances may be considered at Lindsey's discretion.
Course Cancellation or Changes
In the unlikely event that Lindsey needs to cancel a course or session, every effort will be made to offer an alternative date or suitable replacement session.
If an alternative cannot be provided, or cannot be agreed upon, a refund will be issued for any sessions not yet delivered.
No refund will be provided for sessions that have already taken place.
If an in-person session cannot take place due to circumstances outside Lindsey's control, including severe weather, venue issues, illness or government restrictions, the session may be rescheduled or delivered online via a live video platform.
Online Courses and Sessions
Online sessions are delivered live via video conferencing software. Joining instructions will be provided before the course begins.
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have access to a suitable device, software and internet connection to participate in online sessions.
Refunds will not be provided where a participant is unable to attend due to issues with their own equipment, internet connection or personal circumstances.
Where technical difficulties on Lindsey's side prevent a session from being delivered, every effort will be made to reschedule the affected session at no additional cost.
If live sessions are recorded, participants will be informed in advance.
Private One-to-One Sessions
For private one-to-one courses, a minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to reschedule an appointment.
Where less than 48 hours' notice is given, the session may be treated as attended and no refund or replacement session will be offered.
Exceptions may be made in genuine emergencies at Lindsey's discretion.
Medical Disclaimer
The information provided during the course is for educational purposes only and is not intended to replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Participants should seek advice from their midwife, doctor or other healthcare professional regarding any medical concerns relating to pregnancy, birth or postnatal care.
Lindsey accepts no responsibility for decisions made by participants regarding their pregnancy, birth or postnatal care.
Participation in a hypnobirthing course does not guarantee any particular birth experience, birth outcome or postnatal experience.
Intellectual Property
All course materials, recordings, handouts, scripts, resources and supporting documents remain the intellectual property of Lindsey.
These materials are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, sold or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
International Clients
If you are accessing the course from outside the United Kingdom, please be aware that maternity care systems, policies, procedures and guidelines vary between countries and healthcare providers.
While Lindsey endeavours to provide accurate and up-to-date information, it is your responsibility to familiarise yourself with the policies, procedures and recommendations applicable to your local healthcare provider.
Lindsey cannot be held responsible for differences between UK guidance and the policies or recommendations provided by healthcare services in your country of residence.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lindsey's liability in connection with any course, programme, workshop or service shall be limited to the amount paid by the participant for that course, programme, workshop or service.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
